TensorFlow is an open source platform for machine learning. The RaggedRangOp function takes an argument limits that is eventually used to construct a TensorShape as an int64. If limits is a very large float, it can overflow when converted to an int64. This triggers an InvalidArgument but also throws an abort signal that crashes the program. We have patched the issue in GitHub commit 37cefa91bee4eace55715eeef43720b958a01192. The fix will be included …

Overview The issue lies in the implementation of the cell_project macro which used field as *const _ instead of field as *mut _. The problem being that *const T is covariant in T while *mut T is invariant in T. Keep in mind that &Cell<T> is invariant in T, so casting to *const T relaxed the variance, and lead to unsoundness, as shown in the example below. use std::cell::Cell; use …

A Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) flaw was found in stealjs steal 2.2.4 via the source and sourceWithComments variable in main.js.
Due to a parsing issue in upstream package masterminds/html5, malicious markup used in a sequence with special HTML comments cannot be filtered and sanitized. This allows to by-pass the cross-site scripting mechanism of typo3/html-sanitizer.
The function _verify_root_self_signed(), introduced in v0.14.0, and which verifies self-signatures in a new root metadata file, counted multiple signatures by any new root key towards the new threshold. That is, any single new root key could theoretically provide enough signatures to meet the threshold for new key self-signatures required during root metadata update. A scenario where this attack could be relevant is amazingly unlikely in practice to the point where …
The attack allows extracting sensitive properties of database objects that are associated with users or entries belonging to an account that the attacker has access to. Pageflow uses the ActiveAdmin Ruby library to provide some management features to its users. ActiveAdmin relies on the Ransack library to implement search functionality. In its default configuration, Ransack will allow for query conditions based on properties of associated database objects [1]. The *_starts_with, …
Pageflow has a membership edit feature which allows users to edit the roles of user memberships associated with an account that they have the manager role to (including their own). While the Entity dropdown select field is greyed out in the UI, an attacker can use tools which allow sending arbitrary HTTP request to craft a request to the /admin/users/{user_id}/memberships/{membership_id} endpoint containing an additional membership[entity_id] parameter. This parameter is honored …

As a workaround operators may disable dynamic channel joining via dynamicChannels.enabled to prevent users from joining new channels, which prevents any …
matrix-appservice-irc is an open source Node.js IRC bridge for Matrix. The Internet Relay Chat (IRC) protocol allows you to specify multiple modes in a single mode command. Due to a bug in the underlying matrix-org/node-irc library, affected versions of matrix-appservice-irc perform parsing of such modes incorrectly, potentially resulting in the wrong user being given permissions. Mode commands can only be executed by privileged users, so this can only be abused …

This library allows strings to be parsed as functions and stored as a specialized component, JsonFunctionValue. To do this, Javascript's eval function is used to execute strings that begin with "function" as Javascript. This unfortunately could allow arbitrary code to be executed if it exists as a value within the JSON structure being displayed. Given that this component may often be used to display data from arbitrary, untrusted sources, this …
OpenZeppelin Contracts is a library for secure smart contract development. tower_http::services::fs::ServeDir didn't correctly validate Windows paths, meaning paths like /foo/bar/c:/windows/web/screen/img101.png would be allowed and respond with the contents of c:/windows/web/screen/img101.png. Thus users could potentially read files anywhere on the filesystem. This only impacts Windows. Linux and other unix likes are not impacted by this. See tower-http#204 for more details.
